Civi Car ROE bugged

Post by Chefmoto1 »

Civi cars have zero delay before they have an ROE penalty. Insurgents can ram an APC, jump out, then when the car blows up right after the APC shoots it they get the ROE penalty. Been exploited A LOT so far.

Also seen mainbase blocked on Fallujah by civi cars, making it next to impossible to leave main. Really annoying.

Also, should ammo techies really count as civi cars? Getting an ROE penalty when blowing them up currently, it's a bit unbalanced.

After 60 seconds vehicles become civilian again. So yeah if vehicles can get to main through DOD then that's indeed an issue to look into. Personally I'd prefer if all vehicles in range of 'things' would count as insurgent vehicles. Close to bases, caches, fobs, etc...

We've retested the civi car rules after the first reports and couldn't replicate it being broken though :( For us 60sec delay worked fine. We'll look at it again.

Like mineral said we were unable to replicate this, can I ask you to send me a PM with all the steps to do this, for example:
Spawn, get into car, drive, starting to get shot immediately after jump out , die instantaneous, vehicle gets destroyed -> Gunner of APC gets a penalty
Also the logic under the Civi cars is any car without a gun and the ammo techie is just a normal jeep.

Dont question the wikipedia! Just because it reports different things on different languages does not make it unreliable source!

Yeah I like that idea. I'll try to reproduce it tonight.
