Good Evening,

So far so good. Sometimes the admins are a bit hasty in enforcement but I'd rather have that than lazy admins.

My reason for the above can be something as simple as someone marking their mine and yet I accidently driver over it with a full car causing a mass TK, I don't think they should be hastily TB'ed but rather some facts gathered within a reasonable time before deciding the fate of the player in question. I've seen a few hasty TB's over the past few days.

Overall though, still ok.

This is obviously a mistake on behalf of one of the admins, can you tell me the map it was on so we can investigate this matter?

Hey if anyone is interested in helping us administrate the server we could use the help! Especially for the late night, morning, and afternoon time slots PST. Come apply on our website!

Second this. We want to be able to bring you a very well admined server 24/7, but unfortunately we need admins for late night US/early morning EU. We are specifically looking for Australian/New Zealand/Asian admins to help ease the burden.

Plus, you'll get a free reserved slot if you're an admin ;)

Wish the admins would be more careful before executing decisions.

I was killed by the server and then switched teams to make room for someone else because they thought I was still loading in. They did apologize after I confronted them, which was courteous, yet they did not switch me back to my original team.

Decided to log-off.

If I'm being honest, I thought you were really overly aggressive about that. You flipped a lid on us, saying "what kind of bullshit admining is that," over an honest mistake. There were some balance issues we were trying to address at the time as well as people requesting a team switch. So an admin switched you for balancing purposes. It actually states we are permitted to do so in our rules here Rules | BASED Community

Even so, it was a mistake and once we realized what we did we apologized. We weren't aware if you needed a switch back after that and you never let us know, so we never swapped you again to avoid any potential drama with you.

I apologize for the mistake and your experience, and I hope you'll try playing on BASED again soon!

Was it not though?

As far as I was aware, I was randomly killed and team swapped without any warning. I was in a squad playing with friends. Forgive me if I didn't immediately realize it was a mistake, as lack-luster admins seem to be fairly common these days. Regardless, I appreciated the apology and dropped the subject afterwards.

My point still stands though.

Regardless of the situation, handling issues on a public server with professionalism rather than vulgarity will always result in a better situation for yourself.

Admins are human and humans make mistakes. Better we make mistakes and are accountable for them then being asses about it to our players no? Admins on any server will make mistakes, it happens. All we can do is communicate what went wrong and apologize for it, which we did.

Once again, I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your brief time on the server and I hope you will join us again some day.

To any admins...

Is it legal for me to tell squads where to go in the briefing of rounds as commander?

Like tell squad one who is CAS to go to D6 to take down any choppers that attempt to rush.

Good Afternoon,

No specific person or anything, also it didn't happen to me personally was just giving an example. While I understand that all mines and markers may or may not be seen by everyone, it still looked a bit hasty.

It is legal, although if you were doing it using local chat instead of SL chat there would probably be an issue with local spam at the beginning of the round. Otherwise, it should be fine. Of course, this does not mean that they have to listen to your orders (though theoretically they would).

Well, Every server crashes. We have arguably the most stable server for the conditions. Our NA server has 60+ admins set up for about 18 hours of Consistent administration. With the amount of admins as well as commands, we have a higher chance of having a crash.

But this is what we deem necessary to have a solid and consistent level of play for our server. All we can ask is that when the server crashes, you join back. Because we will too.
