Crash On start Pr

Post by Blazinblood »

Here is the log that it told me to post on the forums.

> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
at Ya.h.a()
at Reality.BF2.Settings.Video.a.a(String a)
at System.Linq.Enumerable.WhereEnumerableIterator`1.MoveNext()
at System.Linq.Enumerable.FirstOrDefault[TSource](IEnumerable`1 source)
at Reality.BF2.Settings.Video.GetDefaultResolution()
at Reality.BF2.Settings.Video.CreateDefault(UInt16 a)
at -.f.a()
at -.f.OnStartup(StartupEventArgs a)
at System.Windows.Application.<_ctor>b__0(Object unused)
at System.Windows.Threading.ExceptionWrapper.InternalRealCall(Delegate callback, Object args, Int32 numArgs)
at System.Windows.Threading.ExceptionWrapper.TryCatchWhen(Object source, Delegate callback, Object args, Int32 numArgs, Delegate catchHandler)
[/code]

If I could get this fixed that would be great thank you.

I have already tried reinstalling, rebooting my system and running as administrator.

do you have latest direct x? all the necessary prereqs?
latest updates?

what is your OS?

go to documents
rename projectreality to projectrealityOLD
BEFORE running the launcher, go to root directory and run prbf2.exe
it'll tell you to use the launcher then

I don't know how to post pictures here soo I have the directory I am using:

C:\Users\Blazinblood\Documents\ProjectReality\Profiles

Folders in Directory:
Default (Folder)
Global (Notepad)
GlobalLauncher (Notepad)

I downloaded this using the torrent mounted disc and the Update Download Directory is set to my download folder.

These are my globallauncher settings:
GlobalLauncherSettings.setAutoLoginUser ""
GlobalLauncherSettings.setViewIntroMovie 1
GlobalLauncherSettings.setUpdateDownloadDirectory "C:\Users\Blazinblood\AppData\Local\Project Reality\Project Reality BF2\Downloads"
GlobalLauncherSettings.setUpdateLogDirectory "C:\Users\Blazinblood\AppData\Local\Project Reality\Project Reality BF2\UpdateLogs"
GlobalLauncherSettings.setUpdateKeepFiles 0
GlobalLauncherSettings.setClearServersLaunch 1

Also Inside the Deafualt folder is a Notepad file named Profile, and the First post I posted was the thing it told me to post here.
