Re: Flag Metgrinders
just because most people choose to just charge right in doesnt mean there are no tactical options ,building a fob behind enemy lines will enable your team to attack from behind ,or you could drop a squad behind enemy lines allowing them to do damage to the enemies while they fight the people attacking on the front, and if they divert defences towards the rear well then they'll get destroyed from the front , the meat grinder only really occurs when the map is a city map with only certain roads that funnel troops towards the flag but you can't say that isnt realistic because sieging cities is extremely difficult for that reason alone

There are plenty of options, just most choose not to. Also the flag to flag fight creates the best fights in my opinion, when flags are really spread out with large cap zones it creates two entirely separate battles for as team, an offense and a defense. I find the best maps and flag layouts have flags that interlock meaning you can defend by attacking and clearing the way assuming your rear is clear, or atleast defending troops can have some effect on the offensive battle, even if its only long range fire.

You're right. There are no tactical options in a meat grinder flag.
That's why you let them cap it and take out their reinforcement system, and then go for the flag. You don't fight in a meat grinder.
If you lose the battle, you lose a lot of tickets. If you win the battle, you still lose a lot of tickets.
Don't grind the meat.
