[HELP] Zoom dont work in 3dsmax9

Zoom dont work in 3dsMax9 when in Unwrap UV modifier. Never happened before. It zooms model in viewport but when i try to make UV:s, it just dont work. I tried to check from internet but cant find what could be the problem.

Any ideas?

Have you tried restarting Max? Fixes most things

Also do you mean you can't zoom in the UVW window on your UVs, or you can't zoom in the Viewport while the UVW modifier is added, even with the UVW window closed or with it open?

I have restarted the Max - Problem stays.

Yes the problem is that i can't zoom in the UVW window on UVs.

Zooming in viewport works whether the UV modifier is on or off.

This is weird. Never happened before.

I take it zoom doesn't work with the scroll wheel. Dose zoom work with the magnify buttons in the bottom right? Main button is press and hold LMB and move mouse back and forwards to zoom in and out, and the other is draw a box around the area you want to zoom into.

Hmmm.

Problem started when i installed Windows 10.
Well, now it dont want to instal directplay feature.

Maybe that is the problem?

When i try to zoom, its just vibrates still. No zoom or anything.

I have tried everything above. None of them works.

EDIT: now i can zoom but not with my mouse scroll wheel. >

I want my mouse scroll zoom!! This is slowing me down...

Ye, can imagine. If its a Windows 10 issue I'm not sure I can help since I'm on Win7 still for this kinda reason, among others hehe

it's a win10 issue. I have it as well. I googled it for a while but couldn't find a solution.

Found the fix from polycount forums

– Click the Start button.
– Click Settings.
– Click Devices.
– Click Mouse & touchpad.
– Toggle the “Scroll inactive windows when I hover over them” setting to Off.

Works like a charm now!
