I was lucky enough that the game installed and ran without a hitch.
No issues running the game...
Except I don't hear anyone. And I don't think I can talk to anyone inside PR
I hear game sounds and such, but no voices.
Given how communication is key in PR this is a deadly error.
What happens is when I try to launch mumble from the main menu, it brings up and error and crashes the game. Requiring me to get an admins password to start the game up again.
I'm assuming that the Admin block is causing all the problems, yet running it as administrator has not improved anything. It still requires me to have an admin password every time I try to start up the game.
I don't think this has anything to do with the firewall because it hasn't mentioned anything about PR ever since I started it. (Kaspersky is the antivirus if you need it)
In addition, I don't see any files related to mumble within the game file dependencies. Not sure if that is important, but it might be helpful.
Please help me someone. Anything will be appreciated.

Mumble issues and admin question.
-Human feelings are not something that can be explain through logic.
Yet Human feelings are the source for open conflict.
Therefore, Conflict is not something that can be explained through normal logic.

Re: Mumble issues and admin question.
how about try playing from a full admin account on your windows? google how to enable administrator mode
i'm not savvy with mumble issues, but try that
i would also whitelist prmumble.exe prlauncher.exe and prbf2.exe from anti virus and firewall, or disable them for a brief time to rule them out as issues

Re: Mumble issues and admin question.
You don't hear voices, but ingame sound, because PRMumble has its own executable that will launch automatically when you join a server. Usually the issue with people not hearing others/them not hearing you has to do with your audio input and output not being set up correctly. Follow these steps without launching PR:
"S:\PR\mods\pr\bin\PRMumble"
^ That is where you should find everything related to PRMumble. Not necessarily on the S-drive, but whichever drive you've installed PR on.

^ That is how the folder is supposed to look.
I can't say for sure that this will do the trick for you, but it's definitely worth a shot.Make sure your audio output is set to the headset you are using to play PR with, not something else. That's usually the issue when people can't hear others.
1: Open the PR launcher
2: Hit 'Options'
3: Select the 'PR Mumble' tab
4: Hit the blue 'Launch' button at the top-right corner of the window
5: Go to 'Configure', then 'Options'.
6: Check your audio in- and output. Select the headset and microphone you are using for PR.
By main menu from the game, do you mean the launcher, or on the main menu of actual PR? If you can't launch Mumble from the launcher, the steps above might prove difficult to follow, and I don't really know what to do then.Armymonger wrote: What happens is when I try to launch mumble from the main menu, it brings up and error and crashes the game.
