Newest version not working

Hello, I ran into a problem play PR BF2 , a few days ago my project reality worked perfectly fine then 3 days ago I was playing on a co op server and i lost connection to the server and everytime id try rejoining it would let me play for about 30 minutes then id lose connection again . I eventually got tired of it and closed the game but now everytime i try playing the game the game will launch to a black screen for a few seconds then it will crash to the desktop with no error messages or anything . I was wondering if anyone knows a fix as i enjoy this game even though its old and would like to continue playing it as long as there active servers however ive tried reinstalling the game multiple times and havent gotten anywhere as it keeps doing the same thing . I thought it was cause of windows 10 but i have been playing it on windows 10 all along and havent had an issue with it up until now .

Same problem here, I guess. Installed the game today and updated it after installing. Every time I press PLAY I get a black screen and I have to manually close PR via Task Manager.
I tried to turn off Avast, W Defender and Firewall, didn't help. I'm on a 6GB Quadcore with a GTX 660, Win 7. Shouldn't be a problem at all.

Seriously, are we the only ones with that problem?
I made a fresh install of C++ yesterday, .NET Framework 4.5.2 is installed, just made a fresh dx 9 install just to be sure. If someone tells me where to find the crash dump file I can post that as well.

Launching with online or offline profile makes no difference. If it helps, some more details:
After pressing PLAY the screen shows black with mouse cursor for a second, then switches between all black (as in no signal from GPU) to black screen twice, then stays in black screen. Task manager shows the game as not responding, CPU is on 100%.
