PR in game sound is not working!

I've gotten a new USB headset during the holidays specifically for Project Reality and I've been super excited to actually have a good microphone to communicate with fellow players, but now when I load up PR there is no sound, no music, and all I could hear was mumble. At first I was able to communicate with them but now they can't even hear me speak anymore.

This has been really pissing me off and keeping me from getting the PR experience I was hoping for. I've searched through the forums to look for a fix but none of them have worked. I hope I can find one hear. ??:

I'm running with a windows 10 acer laptop
Processor: AMD A8-4500 APU with Radeon HD Graphics 1.90 GHz
64-bit Operating System, x64 based processor

Are you saying it was working fine and then suddenly stopped working? Does your headset/mic work in other programs?

Yes, it was working fine and then all of a sudden it stopped working, and my headset/mic works in all other programs.

For the no sound issue:
Have you checked if Project Reality has been muted in the Volume Mixer? Apart from that, not sure what the issue is ??:

Also it's somewhat common for Mumble to suddenly not work due to bugs in the current version, causing Mumble to not work. For Mumble, try closing it which will restart the program:

While PR is open, ctrl-alt-delete, close PRMumble.exe or alt-tab, and close PRMumble from the taskbar. It will then reopen. To make sure it's picking up the right device to play sound through, make sure to run the Audio Wizard
