Free Candy Van's mumble server (until now) has been hosted on the developer mumble server, which along with the master server and website, has been seeing some major downtime lately.

To counteract this we're currently working to host our own mumble server, which should help restore the mumble server for our server. Until then we're going to take the server offline for a bit, as playing PR without mumble isn't really PR 0.o

Hopefully it'll be up in a day or two, I'll keep everyone up to date on these forums.

Basically, mumble is hosted by the dev's. But as they are restructuring there servers and resources, the mumble server is down.

Clund was building our new mumble server tonight but had to sleep so... maybe tomorrow. Maybe.

Welcome to running a server almost entirely from unpaid volunteers. Although sometimes I don't even think paying people would make it go faster. PR is weird, and its kindof a dead art of building all these servers and whatnot... so a lot of the time I can't even find people to help us rehost these things, whether they're paid or not.

And then you have the whole problem of: I maybe have 3 people who know how to do it, but one guy already started, so everyone else kinda backs off... but then he maybe looses enthusiasm, and now we have this half built server and no one knows where he left off... etc.

Happens all the time. That's pretty much my primary job, managing all our help, resources, and personnel to get things done even against the chaos that is the human element.

So yeah.

Maybe tomorrow.

Go beg Clund to finish making it, its really all up to him atm, and he's pretty much halfway done.

What a cheap shot. Going out in public accusing me of things i did not do even after i told you of all the security holes in your server infrastructure and then being told "i dont care lol".

I think that you should retract your statement as it is untrue and unfounded allegations that has no grip on reality. For all i know you could have burnt down your own servers (which you have said multiple times you wanted to do) to just pin it on me. Unclassy bluedrake.

Regardless of if you had the ability to do so or not, Who ever accessed the box and deleted the files is breaking the law.

Matty the server wasn't even public yesterday.

The new Mumble server hasn't even been linked yet, we're still waiting on PiePie.

The server is locked on purpose to keep people out of it.

I don't know how you even got in, unless you're just straight up lying, but if you did you weren't supposed to be there.

Literally the only thing we're doing right now is waiting for PiePie to connect our new mumble server to the master server. If you want to server up faster you'll have to yell at him.

I don't know why we can't just link the master server to a zone address that we could change ourselves, but idk this is the way they want it. However they also don't get around to responding to requests for often weeks at a time, so it takes a long time for anyone to get around to connecting our server.
