Question about tracers

Post by Zan »

Hey, can someone tell me the regular rifle (and maybe AR and MG too) mag composition for tracer rounds? (in PR)

Is it one every five rounds or one every three? Also, where is the tracer round positioned? Is it like - first then four (or three or whatever) traceless rounds then another tracer and so on?

Or is it random? Or different between regular rifles of different factions?

Any (documented) help would be very much appreciated. I'll try and test it too, later when I have some time.

USA .50 cal is 4 ball - 1 tracer (iirc), so every 5th round is a tracer round.

I think it's normal-normal-tracer for regular rifles and machineguns. I know it says 4-ball on the .50 box, dunno if it's accurate.

Oddly enough I tested on Muttrah too and... yes? wtf
Anyway, for AK 74 it's Tracer - Normalx4 - Tracer etc. So at least I know what bullets give my position away when playing Russian.

Ah yes, because that is what we're all thinking about when an enemy infantryman suddenly appears around the corner!
