~~ YOU CAN SKIP THIS AND TRY MY SECOND POST DOWN BELOW ~~
How are your task manager processes doing?
Back when I played games on my XP machine, having 30-35 running processes at a time on the gaming boot drive were ideal
For a junked-up computer where work/internet/games were shared, usually you'd see 50-60+ running processes
Around 40~ running processes for a "work" computer (Photoshop etc. other DRM garbage)
I hope this is helpful
If you're having problems still, track down your Windows CD/DVD and buy a $40 external that you can migrate your files over, and do a format & reinstall of the Windows in your computer's internal drive
And get used to periodic (maybe twice/year) saves, formats, and reinstalls with Windows
Assuming you know all this stuff already, here's another thing you could try: rolling back to older graphics drivers, or seeking out new graphics drivers, or going with off-brand drivers

I found this, don't know if you'd seen it yet
Maybe it'll put you on the right track especially in regards to the multi-core and 970gtx combo:
Problems with fps in games with my new GTX 970 videocard | TechPowerUp Forums

Re: I need help
i'd be willing to bet it's 1 of 3 things...or all 3
1 your internet service provider is limiting your packets or something like that
2 someone else is on your wireless network stealing your bandwidth while you are gaming
3 antivirus software or background processes are using some of your bandwidth.
with your setup u should never drop frames due to your hardware....unless your gaming on a laptop...then that's a wholenother story.
good luck

Re: I need help
How long does the frame drop last for?
On a laptop running on battery power, when it is in low or critical stage, it lags.
Also when the settings are on Power Saving, not High Performance, it also makes games sluggish so it could either be that or an antivirus scanning PR.
You can simply exclude the Project Reality folder from scanning if that's the case.

Wouldn't this cause ping spikes and connection problems rather than low FPS?Anderson29 wrote:1 your internet service provider is limiting your packets or something like that

Re: I need help
i'm sorry guys to late comment my internet connection is very fine i can down load 1giga per 1min it's very fast and if the ping is problem then it should be laggy i know but it is truly frame drops cause normaly almost of the maps it works fine (usually 60 fps) but in paluja west or like those particular maps it drops like 30fps
and also i tested my nvidea graphic control penal to limits of it's graphics the same things happen( i believe it's not the problems of gpu then maybe cpu problem???)
and also i got cyclone 600w power so it's powerful to run my rig. oh i want to play pr like other guys to play in 60fps
anyway sorry for my bad english thou
PS : my rig is desktop

Re: I need help
I have the same GPU as you I'll try to remember to see fps the next time on Fallujah, this map is known to be one of worst on PR when you look towards the middle your CPU has an awful lot of work to do.
