Well, Stalingrad would only need PPSH 41 and Mosin Nagant which are already in game.
Maybe you would need to model the Nagant M1895 for the pistol or just use the TT-33
Don't think the weapons need to be retextured and Stalingrad would be Inf only, don't need T34 or KV1

I like PR:WW2 than PR:BF2 because there are a lot of weapons. Thomson, M1 Carbine, M1 Garand, Springfield (I'm not sure, because I don't play as a sniper yet, only on German side), Colt, BAR, Trench Gun, M3 Grease gun. Uf, and it's only US guns.

So Stalingrad would need Mosin-Nagant, PPSH-41, PPSH-42, SVT-40, TT-33, DT-27 (or whatever it's called) and maybe PTRS-41 (I'm not sure there was topic about that one). And that's it. This almost all weapon for soviets. Moreover Germans would need some changes. Replace StG44 for MP40 and Panzerfaust for Panzerschreck.

Maybe it's only me but I'd like see that map for smaller battles like Merville or for Skirmish mode.

Panzerschrecks weren't used yet in Stalingrad. Also, the PPS42 probably wasn't either, since it is a local weapon made in Leningrad.

Good observation. What about coding, animation? Soldier textures? Map?

Yeah, a little bit more than just a few weapons.

I just mentioned that almost all weapon used by soviets during WWII (full list would be with AVT, Mosin_Nagant 1895 and PRTD-41). I know how much work is it.

PR WW2 could get the Red Army soldiers from Battlegroup Frontlines mod, from which the current Wehrmacht soldiers in PR WW2 are from.

I think the chance is higher to get assets from the Forgotten Hope 2 mod as PR is hosting their master server as well.

No, FH2 has their own Master Server now, since the latest release.

It's more likely to use BGF assets, rather than FH2's.

Ah okay, didn't know that they suddenly split.

Also how come that a mod the PR devs have already worked with to some extend is less willing to share than another mod? Or is BGF part of black sands studios?

There's been some bad blood between FH and PR in the past, and though I would love to see FH's models being used in PR I can relate to them not being willed to release them for a different game free of charge. Honestly, I think FH2 is way past it's peak and it would be nice to see them granting our WW2 devs the permission to use their models but I don't see that happening for reasons stated above.
VTRaptor: but i only stopped for less than 10 secs and that fucking awesome dude put 2 of them

]CIA[ SwampFox: well my definition of glitching is using an enemy kit to kill the enemy

Just_Dave: i have a list about PR players, and they r categorized by their skill

Para: You sir are an arse and not what the game or our community needs.

AlonTavor: Is that a German trying to make me concentrate?

Heavy Death: join PRTA instead - Teamwork is a must there.

Well, I can understand them in a certain way. The PR Devs can't offer them anything to share right? A relation between sharing stuff can't be a one-way relation.

BGF was part of BSS back then, yes, but that doesn't mean you can use whatever you like though. It was meant to make sharing assets easier. When "Project Normandy" started, I was in touch with some BGF devs who gave permission to use pretty much anything.

FH2 and PR are two entirely different mods and don't have much in common. Of course there's a PR:WW2 now, but PR:WW2 can't trade much either because the assets come from other mods, or what we created ourselves already exists in FH2. In short, FH2 doesn't gain anything from it, so why bother?

There have been plenty of discussions how FH2 "should" (huh?) give PR assets.... but that doesn't make much sense. Of course I'd love to have PR gameplay with FH2 assets, but the only option would be to make a FH2 minimod, introducing PR stuff. But many PR players don't have (or want) FH2, so that option wouldn't work for a PR:WW2. And that's why it is how it is.

There's no bad blood between FH2 and PR, we have a perfectly fine relationship with the FH2 devs. Just because we're not trading or sharing assets, doesn't mean there's some hidden grudge or whatever.

Somewhere on the internets (*hint removed*) there is a surprise that should make a few of your pop a ww2 boner.

An internet cookie to whoever finds it.

"The actual content of the next Battlefield game is being kept under wraps for now, although EA has previously confirmed that the game will be a return to Battlefield‘s militaristic roots, while in 2013, DICE producer Patrick Bach promised that the next game would have “more features, more extras, and more destruction”. Some players are hoping that the next Battlefield will be set in World War 2 as the series has not touched on that setting since Battlefield 1943." Post from Gamerant.

Atually there is still one server running, but there are only private events for some brasilian clan going on. On the other hand, if there were at least 3 to 6 people other than me interested in playing there, I might be able to contact the guys responsible for that server and get us in.

Well, I don't know why they cant change maps list from Omaha for small Skirmish version maps. 20 or less players on the biggest version of Omaha, oh boy.
