Just had a round on Saaremaa with three admins on. Balance could have been better I think.

36-55 in total kills on the teams seems perfectly fine to me?. That's basically a squad wiped and an asset carrying some troops killed.

Clan stack doesn't really mean anything unless they also proceed to steamroll the shit out of you. Which doesn't seem to be the case in the image you linked. Pretty hard to say by solely looking at the image though.

The curbstomp was real.
Round ended with a US fullcap after 35-40 minutes, followed by a bleed. I think it was 400-0 or so, but I can't remember exactly.

It's a rare day that a clanstacked team doesn't steamroll.

It could have been worse, if we would have stayed on US side.

I asked in the briefing time if we should do anything about the balance, but got no responds from anyone. Eventually we decided to switch either way to the Russians.

In my experience having a game this unbalanced is rare on Merk, but this could have been a perfectly balanced round if the admins would have made some work out of it.

Cheers

As you guys know we usually try our best to even the rounds and balance the sides, I'm not going to lie fellas it looks like that round managed to slip through our fingers.
I'll get a post up on our forums to our admins to try to be extra vigilant, on a good side though all our admins are on the weaker side. At least there is a little commitment in trying.. Seen it a lot worse on other servers, every admin, clan and kitchen sink on the same side.

Noted..

Thankyou for the feedback , very much appreciated

Server hasn't been up much lately, we have a lot of members back at work/uni etc but when it has been seeded I would like to thank everyone that played on it, sides were balanced, fighting was hard and I even walked away with a smile on my face when i was on the loosing side.

So all PR servers have specific downfalls. Lack of admins, experience, etc. No server is perfect, and after years of playing its quite easy for myself to look past them.

But I cannot look past the fact that your admins, while experienced and having and understanding of balance. After a round of burning, where the mec team lost by 200 tickets. They thought it would be a grand idea to scramble the teams so that one side was stacked with clans and admins, while the other team had a duplicate squad stealing assets.

I also have a problem with an admin telling me to take my opinion back to my own server. I thought MeRk was an open mature community. The admin warned Ksof for having an AAV roughly 1km away from the enemies main base(sure a **** move, but i wouldn't call it baserape). Literally not 1 minute after the brit apache was inside the MEC DoD.

So lets touch on the =MeRk= Rules on BASERAPE.
Rule 9 DO NOT ATTACK MAINBASES WITH ANYTHING.
So if we break this down (with my limited understanding of english). I see nowhere in this sentence it says, AAV's are not permitted within 1km of the enemy teams main base, but the CAS chopper can sit on it and engage air assets.

Olla, I'm the admin in question.

1. We don't have scramble enabled on our server, nor do we ever scramble teams, lets make that clear :)

2. I warned AAV because it was way to close to main, as an old timer and senior admin, i made that decision to warn, for game play reasons. I, nor do my guys want to see people border lining rules, and we will use our "discretion" to achieve a balanced/fun game play for ALL.

3. On next map Silent Eagle, i went CO. We knocked out all your advance movements and pressed on 156, resulting in some of you "rage quitting" lol. I personally hate his type of player, when it doesn't go their way they moan and leave. I have more respect for smurfs who crack on and keep at it, and eventually achieve a fun, controlled, victory ;)

Welcome to =MeRk=, hope you had a pleasant stay.

p.s FFG, i will tell you to keep your opinions to yourself when i'm admining, cheers bro.

Then as an admin, why didn't you actively attempt to balance the server with roughly the same amount of co-ordinated players, and why were there no admins on my team?

My issue isn't that you warned the AAV, its the fact you warned the AAV over the Apache that was on top of the enemies DoD.

To be honest FFG, this is the first time our server has been up in a while.Give us a little chance to brush the cobwebs off :)
On a side note the server crashes once all day and night, there was a couple of steamrolled games as we got back into the swing of things. Thankyou to 3dAC for switching around for us, and any other clans that did the same. Appreciate it guys!

Yeah honestly, I haven't played PR in a while. Its understandable. I'd suggest maybe getting some non-merk admins, so that your clan can play together or something.

Cause balancing mid round isn't a clever thing to do, it was done on next map. Its not a must to have admins on both teams, unless your player base is that bad. We trust certain players/clans (CSF/3dAC/NEW) who usually play on our server, when its up, to !r us. As they trust us to deal with any issues that might arise.

FFG wrote:My issue isn't that you warned the AAV, its the fact you warned the AAV over the Apache that was on top of the enemies DoD
I was the pilot of that Havoc, i didn't even know the Apaches position, you know why? Cause i was searching for that AAV that locked me inside my main. If that AAV would not be there, than maybe i could of been concentrating on the shit around me.
FFG wrote:Ya won by 30 tickets, It would have been closer, if i had more bombs. None of "us" ragequit. until loading into Ghost train.

I would rather be having rounds where a side wins by 50/40/30 tickets etc than 200/300/99999 tickets. As they say "less is more" ;)

p.s Regarding non-merk admins, had a discussion about this, got a big fat no from within (certain reasons). Wont be happening anytime soon, unless.....Abullet is really a soft southern fairy.
