RUS v. FSA would be a very interesting setup. More mobile and powerful APCs than the MEC's for the Russian side. A mix of western and eastern weaponry with both offensive and defensive capabilities on the FSA side.
If there would be any jets,can MEC finally get Mirage III on this map ? Ofc if there would be MEC on this map.
Also,one question,I know how thing with voices work,but would it be possible to copy certain map just with
different name,or slightly different,and add totally different factions to copy,it would take more space,but
there would be no VOs problem ?
Wooow hold on a sec Darwin! I intending to use the the Asylum_XP2 static for the club house. I love the enthusiasm you have, it's really cool but you can't just start something all of a sudden. The only thing I need made (if the DEV boys don't allow me to use the BF2142 buildings) is the skyscrapers buildings!
Hey I have an other idea, You could lift the skyscrapper like, 5 meters in the air, so I could modelize Shops
So, I know these big skyscrapper, you can't get in. But it could be possible to put some stores on the bottom of these tall building.. What do you think? .. Under them!
The issue with adding different variants of buildings is that it takes a huge toll on performance. It was already stated before that these skyscrapers are just filler purely for aesthetics. They take up a lot space with tiny impact on performance. It's one way I've managed to optimise the map. These shops, in my opinion would be a no go!
Just an update for everyone, I've been going over what I've done and changing everything to be in an Asian context!

There is a remake of Urban Raid for bf2 that has some statics that you can use.
Isn't the building in that just one huge, glass skyscraper? I actually have messed around with that in the editor before! I didn't really like the glass texture. I guess it's one option to go down the route of borrowing that asset.

Also, some of the Middle_eastern architecture have 3D Arab written signs which of course do not change when setting the woodland textures. Could it be possible to remove these signs?
