Whats next for PR?

Post by Gazza Sparkle »

I used to play PR until my PC exploded. Then i got into Battlefield on console, then hardline came out which was pretty much like a middle finger to my face because it was rushed and therefore horrible which made me regret not donating my money to PR instead so i decided to see how the mod was going.

The most recent update is awesome, making the mod a standalone thingy is what i was hoping for a long time ago. But i was wondering what will we see next? Does anybody know what the developers are working on? Also, what happened to PR 2 or whatever it was called? :39_poscom

PR 2 has been cancelled, Squad pretty much took its place.

Maybe 1.4 will get the Falklands and sometime 'soon' WW2.

The PR team is still going strong, and there was a big portion of the Dev team that left PR to build the "next-gen" version based on the UE4 engine. This is now called Squad, and are avaliable on steam at early access. But yea, PR:BF2 is still going strong and 1.4 is not too far away :D

Thornehaw: If all this have been evidently true, Battlefield is a much scarier and dirtier than ever imagined. Not a conspiracy, but a possibility. If it is true, then trusting another is quite worrisome.
