Hello!
How to make a local server in insurgent mode becomes available to a friend can come and train with me some tactics. On a local server, only the "AAS" mode appears on the local server list. Grateful!

change the game mode? AAS maps show up cause its the default game mode option but there is a drop down menu for gamemodes where you can set it to ins or even vehicle warfare and C&C. Now if that drop down menu isnt appearing thats a completely different problem

Hello Friend,
Yes, all the modes are open on my computer, and only the "AAS mode" is visible to other computers on the network, understand?
When I launch a local server in "AAS" on my computer and have it on a home network, the server is visible to other computers that are in the same network. More when I launch a local server in "insurgent mode", the server does not appear in the server list of other computers on the network.

Their's a drop down box where you can choose game modes. it's above the map box.

Really just the "AAS" mode is visible on a LAN ... the other game modes (skimish, Insurgent, CnC, VW) do not appear in the list to other computers

It's a BF2 issue, only AAS and Co-Op servers will show in the local LAN server browser. For other game modes, you need to join via IP.
