PR Standalone Surround Sound not working - stereo only

Hello all.

I have just rigged up a surround sound system and it appears to work just fine with everything else. The issue is when I play PR, it only plays the audio through the front two speakers. Nothing through the side or rear. I have trawled the forums of the internet but they all appear to be very old posts with no definitive answer.

Does anyone have an idea of how I can get this fixed?

Any advice on this? I think it might be due to the Windows 10 update. Any way of fixing this?

Yeh just installed latest build of PR and lost 5.1 surround sound, was fine on all other versions, immersion killer, any of you got it to work ?
