Filled up last night alright. Server is still new so it might be a while before we get consistent numbers again.

A few issues here after playing multiple rounds last night,

Very little european/japanese/oceanic admins, HOG has the same problem and has had for a long time. PR is already a struggle at those times where most of the server speaks another language, its even worse when there's no admins around.

A tiny, tiny tiny maplist. It's like 19 maps long? Why? What on earth? Your admins were putting maps in mapvotes that you couldn't even put on the server.

they're my two main issues, the rest is just subjective

stricter rules on global spam, people were spamming obscene stuff over global, really ruins immersion and is just tacky, 99% of it is just garbage. I wouldn't take the HOG approach of just choosing 1 guy to kick randomly (i personally wouldn't take the hog approach to anything really...), but please warn or make an announcement or something.

scrambling isn't always the best option, it puts people with clan tags on the same side and often makes people play opfor twice etc, not a big issue to me, but i could see how it would be frustrating to others

Smart decision removing the base rape rules, maps in PR just really are not designed for it (lashkar being a glaring example), but its just also really, really easy on most maps. (you don't even have to drive a gary into their main on fallujah to kill every vehicle inside, just blow up next to the front hescos). No one wants to sit in main for an entire round.

Putting on easier maps at late hours (american late), Maps that require lots of coordination and teamwork often end up a disaster (a lot of the 4km maps fall into this category) . I notice based does this, and its appreciated.

I know i was salty for another east coast server, but at least there's some healthy competition there now.
Thanks guys

On that note it could be worth giving some known, trustworthy EU/Asia/Aus players light admin powers, just some setnext, kick, maybe swapteams, etc. just to help keep things rolling in the odd hours. There's no shortage of trustworthy nolifers out there.

Hey Yak, edit: also Liam

On Admins, most of the time I'm on PRISM until 5:00 AM Eastern and usually we have Coke and Eskil getting on by then.
But we are looking for EU, Japanese and Oceanic admins, Waiting on Daarkness to finish the application form on our forums.

On the maplist, We have a few maps on it in case there's no admins so it goes to a skirmish map then the folow the rest of the maplist. When we !setnext it add the new map to the maplist, so we can play all the maps even if they aren't on the maplist.

On Global chat, I really think we need improvement there.

On scrambling, usually we scramble when a team steamrolled on AAS, I've seen many times now that on Insurgency scramble doesn't really affect much. The same team can steamroll on BluFor and then on the next round they get steamrolled on OpFor.

On maps decisions, we do the 2 AAS then 2 INS thing, I tell admins to choose adequately for late night maps and seeding maps. For late nights it's really random, you can put the hardest map and it stay full, then put the easiest map and people leaves. 4Kms are a no go for late nights for me.
I'll also be looking at stats to see how people are leaving depending of the day, time, map and gamemode to try to get the best map choice for late nights and seeding.

I hope that answered your questions.

Got a couple games in last night. Servers great. If you listen closely enough, sometimes you heard God himself talking on the server.

I set up a section on our forums to apply for Hardcore Community Admins. As long as you are registered on our forums it will be visible to you.

Just had to leave the server since my friends that are new to PR were unhappy that they were removed.

First off I didn't see the unlock message on the chat since we were in some PR action. Got resigned from the squad by admin. The squad leader that was selected who was named CBC is new to PR. He had no idea to unlock the squad. Then the food order he made came to the door so he had to leave and went afk.

We told him to unlock and he wasn't there. Another roommate of his unlocked the squad. I got in. But he was still SQ leader. That friend went away so the squad was locked again with no one in front of the squad leads pc. Due to that he got kicked. So we left too.

Proper admins would be a bit more respectable and not say things like. NO HE WASN'T AFK. Please be more mindful of these issues. There are dozens of less teamplay oriented players frequenting the server breaking many rules while here I am trying to teach two people PR and we got kicked because of a very odd reason.

Doesn't leave a good impression on newbies or more seasoned players like me.

Thanks Jevski, I was about to look into our logs to find anything related.

I should add =]H[= isn't =HOG= in red and, caps and giant text in OP. :)
