Kashan Demolition

Post by Mickey Mouse »

I just recently finished a round of aas alt on kashan with a friend. We were in an apc squad by ourselves with no other crew. Because of this we had to play smart. We started out in our bmp-2. We were able to rush to the entrance of north bunkers without behind detected and hide inside one of the bunkers while keeping a sightline on the main entrance. My driver heard a truck coming so I prepared to engage. To my surprise (and delight) a full trans truck came through the gate. Perfect cannon fodder! I was hyped starting a round with 8 kills on the board. Next thing I know my driver calls out another truck! I wait but nothing rounded the corner. Then I heard them dismounting on the other side of the wall. We hit the gas and turned to the right, we saw a whole squad hugging the wall. I opened up with HE making sure to kill the LAT first. We then decided it was a good time to rtb for more ammo. We had killed two squads and decided we should have some fun.

As soon as we got to main the round reached that beautiful 20 minute mark. Our CAS spawned as well as a sexy little or rather large thing called the shilka. My driver and I hopped in and headed off. With our CAS overhead I started to see a radar signature 20 meters above our havoc. Before we could warn them the havoc disintegrated. I then began firing my four 23mms in bursts the apache began to evade and dive just as I overheated. The apache continued diving as my cannons cooled. Just as he leveled out 30 meters behind us my cannons had cooled. I released a devastating burst of 50 rounds. The apache was no more. We then advanced to the south of north village just outside the view range of a tow which had been reported to be in the city. We preceded to harass a few infantry before being ambushed by a bradley.

Once we respawned we decided to attack the g5 compound with our bmp-2. We advanced from the south unleashing 30mm high explosive hell. We were able to neutralize the compound killing over 30 infantry before an Abrams and a bradley both hit us at the same time, ouch.

A little saddened but still decently optimistic we set out in our 2nd bmp-2. We went south of north village again to engage an enemy fob on the ridge. After finishing off the fob and a few infantry we began to hear a bradley firing from over the ridge. We heard an engine and oriented our front towards the hill ready to demolish the incoming bradley. My heart sank as the vehicle came into my sights. An M1A2 Abrams tank was staring us down. My driver leaped from the APC in fear. I was afraid but determined as the tank was stopping and attempting to load a SABOT shell I began to let loose my AP rounds as soon as that overheated I switched to HE and did the same aiming at the side and top of the tank. As soon as my HE overheated he fired one AP round killing my bmp instantly. I was snapped out of my belief I had just failed when I heard my driver scream over mumble "You did it Mickey HES BURNING." My heart skipped a beat I had just killed a tank with my dinky little bmp.

Our last life in an apc was lackluster, other than an incompetent avenger we killed, until the last 5 minutes of the round. I was scanning high when I saw it. A hellfire missile streaking towards us it missed by a few meters. That was the final mistake that apache gunner ever made. I tracked the trail to its source and unleashed a burst of AP every round struck true. A second apache under my belt. We died soon after to a pesky HAT. The round ended a minute later.

The tickets ended as 0-83 we had won! My final kill death ratio was 50-4. I had killed an Abrams, two apaches, an avenger, and around 42 infantry.

Thank you to CheeseToast for driving me around.

Mickey out!
