Project Reality Teamwork Alliance, also known as PRTA, was created to give multiple clans and communities a concept to rally up behind a platform to organize events and improve the general level of teamwork in Project Reality. The PRTA community was founded the 5th of October 2010. During that time the community has organized several tournaments, countless events and hosted public servers on Project Reality. It has grown from a small group of managers and admins in the beginning numbering at around 15, to during the mid 2012 being a 200 member strong community, and today running a very popular Project Reality Server and having around 400 members in this great international community. An active TeamSpeak server and forum have brought a lot of people together and made us a very close and friendly community...

assetruler69: I've seen things you smurfs wouldn't believe. Apaches on the Kashan. I watched burned down tank hulls after the launch of the single TOW. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.

Time to give up and respawn.

Had some good games last days, credits where credits due.
Small point: it seems that there is a big random in wether admins switch clan mates or not. Sometimes really frustrating when you join to play with your mates. Some admins do it immediately and others apparently blatantly refuse to.

Keep up the good work.

I also noticed issues with switching. Sometimes the autobalance seems to be set to difference 0 so you cant even switch when teams are even. I think you should always be able to switch in that situation. It is nice for players that want to play together and saves the admins from a lot of unneeded switch requests.

Seemed to be very few admins online...

The round we had on Hades Peak was surprisingly good. Not only is that map SO RARELY played, but it was also balanced. Hard to tell though if it was because of teams or tickets...

The alt layer is probably one of the factors of the map playing out so well. Seemed like a good asymmetric layout.

Have been playing on PRTA couple of times. I've noticed that admins are completely ignoring reports. Even if there are 5 of them nobody is responding, so, you're gonna have to wait a long time if you want to play with your friends/clan. Rounds are rarely good/balanced, level is quite low, don't expect to see a lot of teamwork.

Switch command wasn't/isn't working with the betatesting in the last days. Also all admins are not present at all times, and after all, they put great effort in seeding and adminning the server as much as possible, but 10 hrs a day for a volunteer thing is really pushing it.

Teambalance is something being discussed internally and should improve in the future, however that can yet again bring in different complaints.

Public play is hit and miss, teamwork depends on players and SL's.

Maybe join one of the One-Life events where admin presence and overall organisation is at maximum.

So this day, marlin round around 00:23 CET we had a sq called Waffen SS led by SS Kav.
With his SMs, SS JamesKunt, SS mcloughlin and spoolsy. Spoolsy wrote heil hitler, and Kav tried to defend the SS.
The admins did nothing more than warn them, and they ended up making a new squad called Red guards and then saying how its unfair that, that name isnt offensive. Quite standard nazi response. When they started even more politics they got another warning.

Is that really all the response PRTA is willing to take against nazism?

That's not nazism, that is childish trolling. And the saying goes: Don't feed the troll.

Is that an official statement? If so, disappointing.

How much more can be defended by "childish trolling"?
I would agree, if he just wrote one of these statements on its own, fine. But these are a group wearing the tags of convicted war criminals, making a squad called the Waffen SS, then writing several responses trying to defend the SS saying its only a protection group.
Just quick from wiki:
At the post-war Nuremberg trials the Waffen-SS was condemned as a criminal organisation due to its connection to the Nazi Party and involvement in numerous war crimes.
The SS was the organization most responsible for the genocidal killing of an estimated 5.5 to 6 million Jews in the Holocaust. Members of all of its branches committed war crimes and crimes against humanity during World War II (1939?45).
And then your own rules:
Racism is prohibited.

So banning them would be feeding the troll or what?

Mate, some people dont think like that. Back in 1934. everyone was thinking the same, until ups, it actually is not trolling.
