None at all.

Now, back to subject:

How does more nature ambiance sound to you? I never seem to hear birds chirping or the wind whistling in the trees. It be nice to sometimes just stop, and enjoy the rich, yet soothing cacophony of natures own orchestra as it gently plays by it's own accord

Yeah, those are a real nice toutch. Oh! I just thought about something, how come there's never any civilians around? I mean, I know it will never happen in a BF game, and that's the line as far as realism go, but fact is that LOTS of civilians gets killed by artillery, crossfire, and soforth. Although I guess it would be unnessecary machine stress to make angry men and screaming women in burkas running around in the towns (Not to mention how sad the AI would make it look)

But if they were, one'd best get a hefty penalty for shooting them, not to mention a teamkill.

But CS had hostages, Delta Force: Black Hawk Down had LOTS of civilians, and they REALLY made me think twice before shooting madly everywhere. Not to mention the way they would throw rocks at you when angry.

*BURP!* sorry full belly
waffenbaum wrote:You do say that
I assumed you meant flying in a cobra or similar chopper, it was wrong for assuming so and my apologies for doing so.
There aren't many people like you who fly transport choppers to actually transport other people around, they usually fly to the CP bail out with their parachute and let's his teammates crash to the ground without any notice, that's why i assumed so and again im sorry for doing so.

In fact i have no gripe with transport choppers whatsoever, it only encourages teamwork which i think makes the game more fun and it's great that you help your teammates transport, i would like to see more people do that.

My post may sounds too harsh and as a personal attack against you but as Wolfmaster said it was actually meant as a general complaint.
But because it can be/is interpreted different i changed it to Wolfmaster's post.

No problem man. I just got a bit pissy about it.

But I'm good now, "no cow in the ice" as they say In my country.

no cow in the ice? is that referring to milk in an icecube? because, thats what popped into my head. *not poking fun, id really like to know what it means*

anyways, i think as long as someone is IN a vehicle, they should not be able to capt a flag, i was just thinking about this, but it really doesnt make ANY sense that you can capture flags in vehicles, IRL youd get out and secure the area with your squad. Anybody have anyother ideas about this?

also, for the stamina meter, how about far drops take from stamina instead of health? and once the stamina bar reaches -1, then it starts taking away from health. like someone said, you shouldnt get health taken away when you hop 8-10 feet out of a blackhawk.

Two things: Tanks, rocket launchers, and many other weapons need variable types of ammo. SABOT vs HEAP vs APFSD or whatever for tanks, different RPG rounds, different nade launcher rounds, different mini gun rounds (Anti personnel, anti armor)

Nades need to work like they do in AA. AA is the only game I've ever played with realistic grenades. Too many times in BF2, ill shoot a nade or watch one go off within 2 yards of a guy, and he shoots me in the face after wards.....

GR2 had pretty good nades, a little lacking in physics though.

Personally, I think MEC forces need this:

:)

As for the chopper capping situation, I say only ground troops should be able to capture the flag.

Exactly, the rocket launchers currently ingame seems so bulky and ugly. I'd like a slick russian RPG when taking down black hawks.

I'd like it so you cant shoot as an infantryman when you jump.

Or at least everything becomes really really inacurate, and you cant use sights while jumping.

id also like to see different rounds for everything, flashbangs would be soooo awsome, i remember in JO when a team was at a position, they would all be inside a building and every would toss a frag, then a flashbang, and youd rush in, it was very effective. and i like the idea of different minigun rounds, and as for takn rounds POE was alot of fun with Sabot and HEAP, because a HEAP round would be like shooting big grenades, while a Sabot would be pretty ineffective against troops, but take out tanks in 3 shots.
