So the Insurgents, and other factions like Militia get the "Victim operated mine" or something like that...
They do not do alot of damage like the mortar round or the AT mine, but they also don't need to be detonated, and can kill everything, unless if you are a solider prone.
But the biggest problem is that they cannot be removed, w/out the death of someone, which lead to the situation where the Militia team was able to lock down a bridge using only those mines.
So they need a nerf on the ability to stay somewhere even after the game ends and we start playing BF2142 PR
Insurgency mines, probably need a nerf

Can't you just crawl over them like with all the other IED/Traps?

Yes you can, but the point is that they cannot be removed, so you they can lock down a bridge like I sad, but for vehicles, as both will detonate one of those, and the Inf could just go around, but w/ that bridge locked, you would not be able to cross the heavy stuff to get the cache, not only that, they can also force you to prone every time you get next to one, instead of just removing thatPeppeJ wrote:Can't you just crawl over them like with all the other IED/Traps?

You can remove them with the Engineer kit. I removed at least a few in Fallujah once.

I thought you could not, as no one do that too...MaxTheSilva96 wrote:You can remove them with the Engineer kit. I removed at least a few in Fallujah once.

Huh? Never knew that. We defused them by walking over and reviving the wounded soldier...MaxTheSilva96 wrote:You can remove them with the Engineer kit. I removed at least a few in Fallujah once.

Well, now I'm confused. We are talking about the "water container" IED right?
I removed loads of those with the engineer kit once. Just like the regular anti-tank mines.
But I'm not sure about the grenade traps. Never tried to remove one of those with the engineer kit or any other method.
