I looked up the tri count of comparable assets in PR, they all have about 4000 triangles. Your model has 6000. You should really try to get a tri-count around 4000 as well.

Like Mineral said, round parts do not have to be as round as your parts are. You obviously have done a lot of good work already decreasing the tri count but you are not there yet. The screen shot you posted proves it. The large cylinder that adjusts the launching tube's angle is still really round for example. Your cylinder has about 12 faces I believe while 6 would do the job as well. ;) There are a lot more parts like that one, parts which just have to many side's. Remove those unnecessary sides and your model's tri-count will drop really fast.

Good luck,

and if you could post some more pictures without the UV grid on, and edges enabled so we can see the detail more clearly, might be able to give some more tips

We need more then one image.... either upload .obj to some website or give us wireframes of all angles.

Great work on decreasing the tri count!

I can't really find a lot of things anymore that could be improved, just a few things I did notice:

Image

Small radius cable has a lot of side's, 4 sides will do the job as well and you could even go for 3 sides for the second LOD.

High poly button or whatever that is.

I'm no expert but that's still ALOT of wasted space on the UV map. And I still think more surfaces should be welded to make texturing easier. Also believe the overall space-usage could be better. It's good to have things close to the player have more UV space but don't overdo it or you will notice it in the lesser places.

The texture quality in the preview window is not the same as on the final product. Make a render of the area you have issue with and see if it still is blurry in that.

It will not. Not that we don't want to, but we gotta cut off new features and we did that a while ago ;) Otherwise we're busy forever.

If you want my honest feedback, I suggest you put this, and your other projects all to the side for now, and start with something small and simple to fully learn all of the basics. You've made so many small mistakes on the models you've done so far its next to impossible for anyone to give you any decent feedback on them, let alone these mistakes have been spread over multiple models now too. At the very least, focus on just one of your models for now but you will be seriously better off starting something new that is small and easy and getting feedback on each step, then once you've finished that, you can get back to your old models and know how to fix them.

offensively to hear about it just now, but I can not deny of course, that I have a lot to make mistakes, but up to this point I was getting feedback and promptly correct them, we are talking about errors the set as I understood, but I did not even know about any and whether there is something that I absolutely prevents complete these projects and to learn them? at the moment I do not know how to do it right UV and do not know how to texture, I thought that when I learn to do it, I can bring ongoing projects until the end, but if there are some mistakes, which I do not know at this point, I would like to hear about them. By the variant start from the beginning, I am also ready, but what mean "basic" projects ? pistol, mug, teapot?

and yet how to remove green seams ?
