****, I made a suggestion about it but didn't read up on requirements until 48 hours after posting it.
Long story short(as I don't have the spirit to rewrite everything again..),
we loved Artic Wolf, I haven't seen anyone who hates it, yet.
The question is: Where is it?
Was it removed? If so, why? Is it glitched?
Thoughts?

I like the name, but it was Arctic Lion
.
It was removed indeed. The quality and gameplay wasn't as good as it should be unfortunately.

Any chance you devs have the winter maps stored away and able to hit us up with a link for them?[R-DEV]AfterDune wrote:I like the name, but it was Arctic Lion.

It was also bugged. Jets couldnt fly outside of the map, and had issues landing because of it.[R-DEV]AfterDune wrote:I like the name, but it was Arctic Lion.

My apologies, after many conversations I somehow mixed the weapon with the map.[R-DEV]AfterDune wrote:I like the name, but it was Arctic Lion.

Anyways, is there any chance it could come back?
And after some shallow digging I also saw a raid at dawn map, has it seen the same fate as Artic Lion?

Re: Artic Wolf
Maps that aren't up to quality visually and from a gameplay stand point have been cut in the past and won't make a return until they are improved. At this moment non of the maps that we have cut in the past have been reworked so I don't see them coming back in the near future unfortunately.

iirc there were some poles near one of the mains with some light on the top. Those simple things could give a very strong atmosphere to the map. Sadly the rest of it was really meh.

I just enjoyed how there wasnt a lack of transport for infantry, but not so much that assets are left behind.
It felt like everything was used to it's full potential, the helicopters, troop transports, logistics, traveling over the snow. On the hill we'd skirmish with the russians across the town, and shortly after go into intense urban combat in the center.
APCs and IFVs were on the hilltops engaging themselves and infantry, while transport were sending the supplies past the snowy hills and other unreachable locations.
When infantry wasn't fighting in the center, they were fighting in snowy forests, or that one beach-like place.
But that's just my view.
