Chinese apcs getting tracked for no reason+ATGM bug
There's a bug with the zsl-92 series apc, it gets tracked for no reason if another apc gets hit no matter how far away the apcs are from each other. The tracking bug also seems to be client side since your gunner can't see but the drivers view is shaking and the apc doesn't turn properly for the driver. There's also a bug with the atgm (it disappears sometimes when you shoot it, and then there's the normal "dolphin" malyutka which spins out and hits the ground.)

Definitely something to look at, personally never happened to me other than the Malyuka hitting the ground.
And what map did this issue occurred?

It happens from terrain damage in my experience.[R-DEV]Max_ wrote:Definitely something to look at, personally never happened to me other than the Malyuka hitting the ground.

The vehicle isn't fully tracked, it just becomes jittery.

Is this the BMP chassis one? I think I remember a long time ago with Nate where I fired the ATGM and it went into the ground and tracked us.
That was back in 1.1 I think, and haven't really used it since.

The tracking bug happens on xiangshan, wanda shan and shijia (from my experience), the atgm bug happened on xiangshan(my experience).[R-DEV]Max_ wrote:Definitely something to look at, personally never happened to me other than the Malyuka hitting the ground.

On xiangshan the chinese bmp type apc got hit and we tracked, on shijia 1 ZSL was hit by a lat 20 meters away from another apc and they both got tracked.

Re: Chinese apcs getting tracked for no reason+ATGM bug
We tried to replicate this, but never had the wrong APC get tracked.
The missing ATGM might have been when you shot while turret was disabled. In that situation it will look like you are firing on your screen due to client prediction, but since the turret and all weapons are disabled you are not actually firing.

Re: Chinese apcs getting tracked for no reason+ATGM bug
I fired the atgm while getting hit and it disappeared, but after the atgm vanishing my turret still worked fine. The tracking bug is pretty rare (has happened to me 3 out of maybe 30 rounds played with a zsl), the track bug might be because of server lag, wanda and shijia are known to lag.[R-DEV]Mats391 wrote:We tried to replicate this, but never had the wrong APC get tracked.

And some ATGM bugs:

It has something to do with elevation and angle. Maybe both apc's and it's gun.

One question about Chinese APC's. Haven't you guys noticed that they take damage from terrain more often then other APC's? I'm talking especially about Black Gold. The ZSL-92B 30mm APC's are like made of glass. You have to drive them around so carefully not to take huge amounts of terrain damage.
