You know your shit.[R-DEV]Airsoft wrote:A-10 on basra whIle insurgents had brdm and t-62
50 cal sniper pickups and dual uzis on same map
Vip escort with black suburban and little bird
Vanilla bf2 maps karkand and mashtuur with night vision
Only comms were vanilla voip and barely any used them
.5 was the epitome of PR; it was Perfection. I heard rumors on the BF2 forums that some dice employees preferred it over vanilla bf2.
I still think if you guys were to ever make your own game, you should use PR .5 as a base. It's so freaking good. It's been almost a decade and I still have fond memories of desertfox's 24/7 basrah server.
I still dream about the A-10 runs on facility. BRRRT BRRRT BRRRRRRRRT
If you want Spawnable RPGs and SVDs for Insurgent team

Re: The "Back in my day..." Thread
Back in my days people also used to spoke about the same "back in their days" topic. Especially about how better this game was (back in their days).
Also, back in my days everything PR wise was better. There were more teamwork all around, better comms, less squakers and asshats, more serious milsim squad leader d00dz (of whom many were excellent) who weren't afraid of leading random smurf INF squads in PUBs, people always defended the flag with the "defend" marker, less in game chat "community driven" cancerous drama but instead a lot more of that lovely inter-server cancerous drama.
Sarcasm? Or is it? *Winkety wink*
