Reason for G3 SG 1 being semi auto only?

According to this G3SG1 and wikipedia it is also able to fire in full auto. Was there a problem with the linking of the magazines for deployed and undeployed?

Yeah there was mag linking issues on guns with bipods if there was more than one fire mode. This is the reason for all marksman rifles and mg's having only one fire mode.

Any chance we can try implementing it back for a release to test it? I personally never ran into the issue back when you had multiple fire modes with linked weapons, but I have had it happen a few times with the current weapons. If the bug happens either way, may aswell have more features.

It significantly reduced the chances.

But again, nobody cares if you run around with 3 extra mags at the end of the day.

It only happened like once every 15 times.
