W8.1 - OBS problems - can't seem to capture PR

I want to start using OBS to record PR, but it seems that I can't do that. I set everything in the settings to be OK, but when I start to record in-game, later I get videos with a black screen, although it records in-game sounds just fine. I wanted to ask more experienced players with this recorder, how do I set it up to work correctly? I am using a laptop BTW and only able to record for 720p.
