Mini-Mod Server List

Post by Bluedrake42 »

Hello, we've created a mini-mod and we're hoping to test it. The server is working, and we can connect to it via direct IP... however it won't post to our server list.

We've poked around and realized the issue can't be on our end... so I'm wondering now, is there some special process to have a mod show up in its own server list? Such as Project Reality: World War 2?

We can easily create a button in our launcher to just direct connect to the server, or modify the main menu to do a direct connection... but I'd really prefer to have a functioning server list if possible.

Let me know, cheers!

No, nothing special is required. Each client will only list servers running the same mod (like in BF2).

So for example a "pr_bd42" mod should only show that in the server browser.

To register in the server browser, your mini mod name must be in the form of "pr_xxxx". Otherwise it will be ignored.
