I was wondering what PR is going to do with the supplies, the way it is now is absurd and it makes engineers unnecessary.
I don't know how it's done irl but if it drops out of the sky maybe make it so only the medic and the supply dude (and maybe c4 too for spec?) can resupply themselves, which they can supply to their squad.
But as i said i don't know how it's done in reality.
It's more than obvious why the boxes fix stuff. They're nanomachines recovered from Rosewell in 1947. Capable of healing, repairing and building ammo from basic atoms.
haha waaaay too much thought into that on tacamo, but i can see bf2 putting that in there, also i was an engineer and went to repair my teams artillery, i took a DPV to get there... and as soon as i passed the howitzers they repaired...
Pretty skillfun i can repair and drive at the same time
you know, it's always great fun if you capture the enemy main base and the enemy captures yours. first you blow eachothers stuff up, then each team recaptures it's own base, and everything is repaired again.
the crates act like their made out of glass, i saw a DPV hit one and it exploded... the DPV took no visible damage, it didnt even slow down. as far as stuff killing you, iv taken one of those aassault boats to the hip (probably going about 3 mph) and it killed me
I think the supply crates were a good idea for the game, however, the ability to repair does make engineers not as useful as they should be. Not only for tank repairs, but I think it's really cheap that the commander can just fix his own toys by throwing crates at it.

You have to repair a certain amount of hit points to get a point. Medics and support have an easier time accomplishing that because they don't need to actively do anything except hold on to their health or ammo pack.
And if you're the commander you don't get points for any of it.
