Shijia Valley rubber banding feedback

Post by Outlawz7 »

Shijia Valley
Removed Objective gamemode-layer until it can be refined.
Updated overgrowth in attempt to improve performance.

So I fiddled with how the map loads overgrowth in order to see if it would do anything wrt the start-up lag/rubber banding. Has anyone noticed the lag improving, getting worse or staying the same?

I play with 160-200ish ping depending on the server.

I played Shijia STD late night on FCV with abunch of the Oceanic community. There was about 80 people on the server and there was definitely rubber banding on the map. It was far less then 1.3.9. but It definitely broke my immersion. Even my milsims

Played it on PRTA with 100 people and <50 ping - it was rubber banding all the time, people and vehicles skipping forward all the time. Almost unplayable, but it's PR so...

Map seems to be working much better for me. The only noticeable rubber banding was at the round start.
