Use the spg technical or build a stationary spg, they can easily hit the apc at max view distance and usually despose of them with one hit. Sure, sometimes if they have a good apc squad they will dominate, but even then you can counter them if you try hard enough.

You don't seem to have an idea of what you're talking about, sorry.

Challenger > Warrior/Scimi

Those APCs are clumsy, slow moving and their cannons are the worst out of all APCs except maybe the scorpion. All you need is a reasonably large flank with a bombcar or a somewhat good tactic with an SPG techy and they are easily killed. Or you can just keep spamming RPGs at them so they have to rtb all the time.

Bomb cars, SPG and RPG. If those APCs had a real autocannon instead of 40 mm howitzer, then I would cry. But as Viirusiiseli said, they have the worst autocannons.

Man, get a good RPG/SPG team, and you can really kill easily a APC...

If you are talking about the tank in other hand, you probably going to try to throw all yours bomb cars/Trucks on then...

And I saw one time, one Tank getting something like 500kills w/out blowing up (even if I wished to that blow up earlier, the guy was an asshat)

We improved balance around APCs on basrah for 1.4 ;)

Well, it sure isn't fun to play against them, but luckily asset kills don't give you any intel points, and with a few civis mixed into your group you can get a nice amount of martyrs depending on driver/gunner coordination, especially if you manage to use them staying out of RPG range against them(since it's harder to identify whether or not a player is armed).

We'll see how the updated Al Basrah changes the gameplay. The current version of the map is quite old with those wide, open grounds and condensed city, it's very similar to Karbala. Both maps could use a drastic rework to reduce BluFor depending on long range camping to go anywhere and the Insurgency's ability to win the game easily via human wave tactics, often made even more easy due to cache locations a mere 100m outside their main. But what do I know?

It's fine, better now due to the additional foliage.

If your spg technical is wasted or your team leaves all the bridges up and sets no ambushes at the river it's your own fault for allowing them freedom of maneuver.

The concept of Insurgency is to have a really well equipped force fighting a poorly equipped terrorist force. Since the unconventional force is poorly equipped they have to be creative in order to win. Bluefor is supposed to be overpowered because it is supposed to trigger that creative thinking.

As an insurgent you know you are most likely not going to win a long range engagement, because you don't have scopes and all of that. So if you want to make the enemy bleed tickets, then you will have to think of different ways. You can use civilians to let a full squad run into an ambush while they are chasing a civilian for intel points. Just plant an IED and make them run towards it. Boom, 8 kills.

Same goes for the APC, if it is 600 meter out of town in open terrain like it should be; leave it be, if it sets up in a stupid spot, flank it. Really, the only kills the APC is going to get is people peaking it while they know they shouldn't have peaked it. If it gets close to the city, throw a LAT on top of it and it should be dead. Just be creative.

That poorly equipped force is better armed than the Bluefor on some maps lol. With helicopters though Al Basrah is a really well balanced one.

APC helps out after transporting infantry with fire support, it's meant to have a decent cannon.
Saying that a warrior is better than a challenger is comedical though
