Just a lesson to everyone else, don't post page long rants and accuse the entire dev team of being out to ruin everything you love when you're on your period, hormones do some crazy shit.Rabbit wrote:Hates new feature, ******* about it. Actually plays it, finds he kinda enjoys it.

One thing, assuming you have the time of course, i know not everyone does. Have you applied to the test team to assist in testing these issues you post about?

Devs, did you also change the bomb physics? The bombs seem to have different trajectories now.

Normal dumb bombs have the same physics as before, are you sure your not dropping retarded bombs?DogACTUAL wrote:Devs, did you also change the bomb physics? The bombs seem to have different trajectories now.

Nope, using normal bombs on different jets. They seem to impact on different spots now than before when aiming them, it was really a big difference for me, noticed it immediately after the update.
Not saying it is bad though, just noticed a difference and wanted to know what was changed exactly, so i can understand the new system and use that knowledge to get better at it.

Nothing changed on them. It's just the jets having different speeds than before.

Time to give up and respawn.

A-10 gets damaged or explodes on lift-off due to jet being able to pull up too quickly, and tail hits the ground.
A-10 gets damaged or explodes on landing due to nose pulling up uncontrollably when on slow speed.
Landing with faster speed causes bugs such as the landing gear not deploying and jet sinking into the ground consequently, causing it to bounce and explode.

Re: Jets in 1.4
Jet physics aren't wonky, only in f-18/f15. f-15 has it the worst and can stall on tight turns relatively easy. Pretty much my complaint, also on bamyan the runway is way to short so a10 crashes almost all the time if you don't have a skilled pilot.
Now how about the CAS choppers, anyone got a link to a thread where i can complain about how you can no longer dive with them. not even able to turn upside down in them. If not i will make a thread to complain in. But if any of you jet guys can link me that would be great.

Before you ask, been playing since 2006 seen a lot of change, some good, most bad.

1. Don't pull up too high? You're the pilot, it doesn't do a tailstrike on its own. Try flying the MiG-21 in DCSviirusiiseli wrote:A-10 gets damaged or explodes on lift-off due to jet being able to pull up too quickly, and tail hits the ground.

2. Don't go too slow on landing? Don't go too fast either? I dunno, I can land the A-10 every time when I approach at 45-49% throttle. I did get this behavior when trying to land it for the first time with the new physics, doing a loop is the exact opposite of what a jet should do when it stalls

The point is all these things worked flawlessly before the new flight physics, now all you get with the new physics is unnecessary bugs and crashed jets.mati140 wrote:1. Don't pull up too high? You're the pilot, it doesn't do a tailstrike on its own. Try flying the MiG-21 in DCS

Exactly. Don't fix what ain't broken.viirusiiseli wrote:The point is all these things worked flawlessly before the new flight physics, now all you get with the new physics is unnecessary bugs and crashed jets.
To those who thought I was happy with the new CAS physics, I was being facetious.
Too bad the devs won't roll it back.

I like the way jets fly now, makes for very fun dog fights. Dive bombing is harder but I see that as a good thing too.

I wouldn't say its harder, Id say its different. Dumb bombing i feel is alot harder.Brozef wrote:I like the way jets fly now, makes for very fun dog fights. Dive bombing is harder but I see that as a good thing too.

Re: Jets in 1.4
Doing gunruns without crashing into the ground is harder because we dont have RL viewdistance, but have J-10 style physics that keep dragging the jet down for seconds while pulling up
thx obama
