SMLE No. 1 front post

I've been playing around a bit with the glorious SMLE No. 1 and I've noticed that the front post is oddly small. I remember it being a bit larger previously. As of yet I've no idea if it's a bug or a feature.

At first, I thought the settings were the issue, but they don't appear to be an issue.

Hopefully this will get addressed whether it's a bug or a feature.
