My game is glitched

i open the launcher and start the game, it says it has an update so i try to update, it says "unable to obtain an update list", so i figure that its just a glitch and i download and run the manual updater from the download page, the manual updater says i don't have version 1.4.0.0, so i check my game version ant it says i have version 1.3.9.0, But i downloaded the full client today... i am so utterly confused

please help...

Did you make sure to uninstall your old version?

If you have already installed PR:BF2 v1.3.9 or a previous release, uninstall PR:BF2 and visit the downloads page to download the standalone v1.4.1 installer.
