1.4.6 actually. Kashan alternative has an outdated version of MEC tank. Given that US got M1A2 it makes sense to give MEC a T72S instead of the actual T72M.
Not to mention that US also has better ATGM heli (kiowa vs. gazelle) and 2 ATGM IFVs (bradleys) vs. 2 non ATGM bmp2.

I see both your points (unless viirus is being sarcastic), but i would like if the DEVs keep the T72M in this layer, just because it is almost featured in no other layers anymore.

Pls stop. This needs to change. I dont want to every time when I play Kashan Alt on MEC side wait near main for enemy tanks to push. This is not how this game playes. I dont whant to depende on if factor to win on this map,just because somebody whant to have weak T-72M on this map. T-72M is removed from most maps whit reson,because it got nerf so it cant survive one shoot to front from enemy tank. You really whant to play whit this? I think most of players think same us me.

But seriously, the only big threats to you in the T72 are TOW/HAT and the M1. That's it.

M2 is shit tier against tank because of the ridiculous turret block and delay when using the atgm, only way a bradley would kill your tank it would be your fault because you pushed him while he was waiting for you. No way a badley could take out your tank while pushing you, unless you have a shit tier gunner or didn't check your surroundings/sectors.
Also unless the M2 hits your frontal armour with the atgm it would be the same result as with the T72S.
That's why i didn't include CAS, because the result from getting hit by CAS would be all the same even if you had a T72S instead of a T72M.

You know that T-72M got nerf. If I remember dev said that T-72M cant kill any other armour vehicle whit it gun,and its one shot for everything. Currently the T-72M's gun does the same damage as any other MBT, but its armor is weaker.

I just checked it, like expected the gun of T72M is exactly as strong as the gun of the M1A2.
So to kill the M1A2 with the T72M, like with any other modern MBT it takes 3 frontal hits, 2 side hits or 1 rear hit(burning).
To kill the T72M with the M1A2 it takes 2 frontal hits, 2 side hits or 1 rear hit(burning).
So to answer your question, yes i think it is possible to be successfull with this tank on that layer, provided your strategy and tactics are sound.

with the T72M you have to be sneaky and try to kill both Bradly's and the M1 Abram from side or behind(Rear) even with the other modern Tanks, just sneak up and try to hit from side and the back... it makes it easier.... forget about hitting the Front Armour now days... 
still Bradly can go down with front shot too !
the only issue is no Thermal for gunner ! and it make sense, it's an Old Tank ! and i think you can spot with it easy in this map !
i wish it was the T72s or s1 ! but still the M version it's not useless... if you know how to use it !

A little off topic, but just trying to figure out why the M was switched out for the S1 on bamyan, and the opposite on kashan. On Bamyan the S1 rapes, and on kashan the M underperforms.
