[Help] Removing HUD elements

I'm trying to remove the minimap and the ticket information but I can't find where to do it. I've searched through the Menu_server.zip and Client_menu.zip and couldn't find it. I've searched countless forums but it seems that nobody else on the planet wanted to remove it or they all knew how and didn't need to ask.

If you need some incentive I'll link you to a funny picture if you help me out.

Ehh you cannot just remove things, if you want to play online that is.

Otherwise: menu_client.zip\HUD\Texture\Ingame take a look there.

It's for a personal mod so it's not an issue. I've already turned off chat list and all HUD elements for health, reloading, et cetera.

It's full of the image files for the minimap. Is there no way to remove it from the HUD without changing these image files?

EDIT: I think I found it. Is it located in HudElementsMap.con?
EDIT: Holy ****, a lot of things depend on this. Yay for lack of modularity!
EDIT: Stuck, still haven't been able to get the minimap to go away. It's also great the virutally everything in the HUD is undocumented.

Can you not just "move" it completely off screen? Out of the 0-800 x 0 - 600 range?

I did one even better, I told it only to display when the minimap was full size (full size minimap is the spawn selection screen).

The only issue I'm having now is getting LevelTime to display. For some reason it won't display. Is it multiplayer games only?

How did you turn off the chat list?

assetruler69: I've seen things you smurfs wouldn't believe. Apaches on the Kashan. I watched burned down tank hulls after the launch of the single TOW. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.

Time to give up and respawn.
