Its a really annoying bug because it costs you your life. Basically if you are wounded and you start blacking out, the first thing you do is take the field dressing out and patch yourself. The field dressing works if its thrown on the ground, anywhere else and it just falls through and eludes you.
On the carrier, it will somehow penetrate the floor and elude you, on rooftops, it goes underneath you and you cant use it etc etc.
I have tried to improvise, like throwing it into the air and trying to catch it on its way back but it didn't work . . .
Please devs have a look into it
