Ok my current thing is to reply to simple questions with page numbers. Example:

NeWB: what key allows me to talk in mumble (something similar, not as complete as that)
ME: #1 read the manual, #2 turn to page #<insert # here>, #3 press H for local and 0 <numpad> for squad.
NeWB: why do you have to be so sarcastic and rude
ME: I don't run 800-1PR-TECH support 24 hours a day, I like to play the damn game
NeWB: your the reason why PR is so <insert whatever here>
NeWB: you guys are so butthurt
ME: .....

You get the picture.

My favorite line is: "I just bought the game last night, what do the red skulls on the map mean?"
I always use the "bought" line to illustrate points, it always brings out the newbs. HEHEHE

If you're bother by new players asking what things do then you need to take a step back and re-evaluate yourself.

Some people just don't know there is a manual. Some people don't have a manual available in their language.

Instead of getting to butthurt about the whole thing and yelling at them to read the manual, or sarcastically trying to help them how about actually helping them.

I've played PR since the 0.7 days, and even though I read manuals, the majority of things I learned wouldnt have happened without people helping me during my time learning.

If finding the manual only wasnt so hard....Ive heard that excuse enough times...I cant find the manual...if you can start the game, you can find the manual.

The problem isnt asking questions, the problem is asking questions that could be found in the manual

Some people learn by reading, others with activities and so on. When I started playing this I didn't even know a manual exists.

just answer there questions and be nice .

You know, you spend much more time asking how does the game work and annoying people rather than reading a manual...

You are trying to play the game, especially if you're squad leading, and in the middle of a firefight someone asks you how to change sights, how to switch to auto, etc... It can get on peoples' nerves.

i see all this questions a lot from a new player .... and its funny becouse the answer is most of the time shorter than write " Go Read the manual "

like dude asking for key .
and even if its something more complicated .... i understand them .... like he come to play video game ....and he just asking for a direction ... he dont want to quit right now and read like 20 page manual .... that boring ....

I do both, I do help the new guys as much as I ignore them depending the situation... But still, why is it so hard to read a fucking a manual? Most of the info is there! It's to help you play the game, not to study for calculus class...
