I just got a new computer built and here are the specs.
Intel i3-7100
ASUS B250M-k
Geforce GTX 970 Gaming
win 7 64 Ultimate
And a Power supply thats 450W
No matter if it's Project reality, Battlefield one, or Company of heroes, after a while something will happen in game to cause the computer to reboot. The games play at high frame rate, but they inevitably reboot. I assume this is a safety precaution to stop heat from damaging chips. I couldn't find a critical error reboot function in windows to turn off, do you know where it is in win 7?
Also I assume, the power supply is not strong enough, I used a website of unknown repute to calculate a theoretical wattage based on my components and usage. and it suggested over 500W
My question is, can I get more power out of my PSU?
And what are the likely causes of this, and can I turn off the reboot procedure?
Cheers,
