Dovre Summer Evening: Rifles "Fire" When Running

The other evening my squad and I discovered a bug on Dovre. This is the layer that is not snow, and is set in the evening.

As Netherlands, we discovered that if you are sprinting (weapon drops down and you start moving fast) and while still sprinting click your left mouse button (or whatever "Fire" is for you), it will seem as if your weapon discharges but *only* to those around you. That is, while sprinting you can "shoot" but only those nearby can hear it. The player himself cannot.

This does not actually fire the weapon - reloading doesn't work, and even if you "spray fire" at a friendly they will not take any hits. It also seems to ignore magazine size - my 30 round mag likely shot far longer than it should have. Unfortunately we were under fire in short order by OPFOR (attracted by our experiments possibly) so were unable to test that in full.

It did this with multiple members of the squad including myself.

A minor bug, but one never the less.

Yes, this happened to me sometimes already. It's not related to the map (or rifle), I've done this on many different maps with different weapons.

It can also happen sometimes while you have your shovel in your hand, if you left click the server thinks you have your rifle selected and so you fire forever.

The same happens when you select the hook on the breacher kit and you spam LMB before the hook is ready.
