Re: Clan customization etc..
100% sure this is never going to happen. Besides, suggestion outside suggestion forums?

We're not going to implement different textures/geoms for clans. Never going to happen.

Re: Clan customization etc..
i can see this happening on only one scenario:
PRWW2 where there are multiple forces taking place(army and army paratroopers) and thus need different unit patches.
that is the ONLY scenario where I see the possibility of such a (honestly useless, but slightly neato) feature.
also for clans.. no. is it cool? absolutely. useful? not really. and just imagine the amount of work to regulate clan patches.. who makes the clan patches, who authorizes them, etc.
otherwise we start getting shit like porn patches on "[TXIC] clan"
like i said, for PRWW2 would be nice to have some guys wearing 101st patches, 82nd patches, 29th patches, etc. but it will be annoying to implement i suspect.
meanwhile, doing something like putting some grass ontop of a US Sniper Kit's helmet is much easier and universally avaliable while adding to immersion, neato aspect, and everyone is happy.
edit: and just to say, US Sniper Kit was bad example, because it won't be seen often, however it is still neat.
something like giving a chance for a Rifleman to have a radio on his back is much better, or a helmet net ontop of an NCO's helmet.
