Controller/Joystick Mapping Not Working

Hey so, my drivers are all up to date, but I can't seem to map my controller or joystick axes for flight. Haven't tested for infantry (cuz I'd rather use keyboard/mouse for that).

Buttons on the controllers work fine (throttle/weapons, for example), it's just the joystick that has no effect for elevator/aileron controls. I can yaw fine using buttons, and the settings page recognizes the joystick axis, it just does nothing during both taxiing and take-off.

Edit- oh yeah, works fine in other games, been using em for years. Just PR.

And also, the F10 and F12 keys become unusable but get remapped to whatever the cycle weapon key is :s

I don't remember exactly, but it's somehow connected to the falcon configuration in game (some niche motion controller that they decided to add support for in BF2). IIRC I had to manually remove all traces of falcon in my controls.ini manually to get my joystick axes to work. I can upload my controls file that has been fixed for joysticks once I get home from work if you'd like.

You made your setup in the primary keymapping control column or in the secondary?
Sofar i know/remember is there a bug, when you make changes dont touch the primary controls column.

Glad it's not that niche controller issue though. Not a fan of messing with ini files
