When shooting guns at objects or terrain, the impact sounds can be heard over great distances, over 500m on Muttrah for example. Never noticed that, is it intentional? I really doubt it.
I have audio set on Software and High.

Re: Bullet impact sound bug?
I cannot remember if on my PC it was any different, but when a distant gunshot is heard, i hear the normal "close" sound first, but quieter (because of the distance) and then after the distance delay, i get the "far" sound effect. Is that how it is supposed to be? I remembered only hearing the "far" sounds when something was shot far away, not both sounds one after another.

I am curious. Is there a reason you set your Audio to Software instead of Hardware?

I don't remember with what I played on my PC, but when I installed on laptop and was surprised that it can actually run PR, I only looked at the gfx settings to get the fps and neglected the audio. Not having a specific soundcard also was a reason..., I assumed that it would be less problems by having it run by software.Geronimo wrote:I am curious. Switched to Hardware now, maybe there is a difference?

I tested it some time ago and I haven't noticed any difference at all.Heavy Death wrote:Switched to Hardware now, maybe there is a difference?
