PR Editor Missing BFMFC.dll
https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f360-g ... ssues.html
Continued from my post, this time in the correct forum, my apologies.
I've tried reinstalling PR, then following precisely the steps required in the tutorial provided, tried running in WinXP service pack 2 and 3, redownloaded all of the assets that are provided in the tutorial.
After having a look through the forums I've noticed a few other people with this problem which was resulted in the solution of WinXP compability.
(https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f388-p ... t-bf2.html)
I'm still missing the BFMFC.dll, but I've begun to fear that the install you provided me in the tutorial is outdated and does not contain the files it requires, possibly because I did not install PR prior to the 1.3 update, thus I do not have a copy of BF2.

Re: PR Editor Missing BFMFC.dll
A few things: First off I tried it multiple times in different ways with administrator mode, no luck there, and so now I'd like to find out whether any of map makers that did not have PR prior to 1.3 have been able to setup the map editor. Although the tutorial was supposedly updated for 1.3, it appears the only changes made to it were for support to transform a pre1.3 version to 1.3 due to the fact BF2 not being a dependency.
Edit: Silly idea perhaps, but would it be possible for someone who has a working PR editor to send me their pr_edit folder.

Re: PR Editor Missing BFMFC.dll
So due to the fact the map editor is missing a file, and their are other people who are missing this file, it seems obvious that the download link doesnt include that file.
So can someone just put a DL link for BFMFC.dll

Re: PR Editor Missing BFMFC.dll
Ok first off, thanks a ton, I'm now able to start up the editor in WinXP compability mode, however a few seconds after starting up it says "Unable to find Memory.dll"
Sorry to keep bugging you about this, but can I have the memory.dll
Oh and I tried copy and pasting the EditorMemory.dll then renaming which fixed this error but then spontaneously crashed seconds later.

Re: PR Editor Missing BFMFC.dll
Well, some good news but mostly bad news.
The BF2Editor now actually starts up and "works" for a few seconds, although because it lags during those few seconds I can't actually do anything. Following that Windows announces that
"< File description>
<File description> has stopped working
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
As you may expect Windows has no solution, so without it giving me any diagnostics on why it broke is there a diagnostics tool for BF2Editor to determine what has broken it now.
I'll try and upload an image of what its doing.

Re: PR Editor Missing BFMFC.dll
Ok i am pretty sure i fould the single solution to all the issues OP had (with some outside help).
Make sure you unpack the PReditor.zip into this folder: Program Files (x86)/Project Reality/Project Reality BF2/
That's it. If you didn't do that and unpacked it somewhere else all the issues in this thread will start appearing in the same order. If that's the case delete all of your unpacked PReditor files and unpack PReditor.zip again, but now to the correct folder.
Now it will work right away without the need to insert the dll files (because all the PReditor files are in the same folder now as the dll files are).
