glad to see you guys back on track and server plays out pretty decent(less crash,..etc)

but i had an issue the other day when i played on your server.

now usually i try my best to stay away from Drama or trouble cause i don't have much time to play as i used to, so i try to keep it fun on my free time...

but the other day i was playing on Black Gold, and i end up in a situation that there was a tank about to kill us and i was trying to re-shovel a TOW, there was no one around except for this SSG member named Clipper, i asked him several time to watch out and get off the AA to help me shovel the TOW to try and kill/Damage the enemy Tank, but yet he kept on ignoring me and he started to fool him self around, talking nonsense in an immature manner,(like a child basically) as you might have guess, yes we died by the tank and i end up getting mad and start to trash talk in team chat and insult Clipper a little bit on mumble and team-chat, as for that im sorry,

so Leaders of SSG clan, please can you tell your member to at least try to play the game as it should be... i mean no one is perfect but we try our best to have fun.

i hope next time i join the server i see more Team work from SSG member's and less fooling around and asshating.

P.S please don't take it personally since this is a feedback thread, that all i have to say.

Guy who's been banned before from other servers for trolling teamkilled our tank squad yesterday with HAT, only got temp banned to come back and do it later on.

Teamkilling is a regular occurrence on the server which needs to be dealt with and not ignored.

Most of our admins are advised to temp-ban/ban intentional teamkillers. Sometimes however due to the small amount of admins active, these things happen. We will work on improving it.

Thank you.

Rest assured that Clipper will be warned for his misconduct. Keep in mind however that insults are extremely frowned upon by our senior admins. Many SSG members have been warned for this. and many people have been banned for racist or other kind of insults. If you have any problem with anyone, including SSG members, please use !r command to report. Reactionary insults are not a solution.

Especially if you are located in Germany:

IPs should never be public online.

Someone is accessing my forum account that's not me.

I've reset my information after they disconnected, can you find out which IPs connected to it and where they were from?

Just to be cautious. Under Germany's Federal DPA (Data Protection Act) publicly posting IP addresses is strictly prohibited unless required to by law or if only the subject provides consent.( Though I'm not sure what jurisdiction Germany would have if you posted a German IP address on a French hosted server/site)
Meanwhile in France (which is where your server is) the posting or exposure of any personal data that could identify an individual without their knowing or consent is prohibited. e.g. You can pinpoint where someone lives or where they work based only off their IP address and work from there.

With both those countries being in the European Union they can fall under the Data Protection Directive which I don't believe is actually legally binding to the member countries.

If I'm wrong in any of these please correct me but:

Not saying that you guys are data/ posting for malicious use but it's out in public and everyone is able to see it. There's no telling what other people could do with someone else's info. Might as well just keep it out of public postings to be completely honest.

Can we cut the smilies and talk English? If mectus wants these logs and you wish to provide them then do this over pm. This forum stuff isn't a concern of the game server.

Interesting. Looks like it is German law and EU is adopting it... Don't know if its legal etc in France but in the UK it seems like its not yet
https://www.gov.uk/government/news/gove ... ection-law

But there seems to be a lot of confusion to this law... so have to wait and see. And like you said... can a UK person post a German persons IP?

Were you logged in at all? It can stay there for a while saying that you are still online. Happens on PRTA as well. No idea why. Maybe some cache setting.

Seems like it was that after all, I haven't logged in all day but chrome probably made it look like I was still logged in.

Thanks for the help though.
