I need a TALLENTED texture artist to help with new updated PR:WW2 Half-Track

Hey guys, we over at IDF mod and Battlefield: Korea have been collaborating on trying to get a new Half-Track for all 3 of our mods.

I am looking for somebody to do a better job with the textures, because the underlying texture is 2K resolution, and when we add stuff to it after the fact it isn't looking as good for us. So I will need to see if the community here can help us both out, but now I think our mod's Half-Track rivals FH2's. This was all the work of Spyker over at IDF mod doing the model and textures, with a little help on textures from myself and General_Bradly. Brad also did the coding of everything.

As you can see here the texture needs more love than this, which is only placeholder. I have the Photoshop .psd file I can give a talented community texture artist here to give it proper symbols and the love it deserves, but we just did these for reference.

Now the window can be closed up with the protective armor to protect the driver.

Interior also has had a lot of work done to it as well.

And last but not least you can see another shot of the Anti-Aircraft M16 Multiple Gun Motor Carriage variant beside it too. I still think maybe that Quad 50 might need some work eventually too, as it comes from EOD2 mod, but you see we have a version for dealing with pesky Aircrafts for you now too when you get planes added.

If anybody wants to take a crack at improving the details of the added U.S. markings, please be my guest. I have the actual Photoshop file you can delete the layers and add your own here.

Hi mate,

I'm not sure if it's the same model as we have in WW2 mod, but I've already retextured the halftrack back in january 2016.

Well, it used to be the same model and in fact still is based on that but has been vastly updated to 2017 standards, so this one is fully remastered. More polygons, and full 2k textures. The original model was made many years back in 2004 if what the IDF mod guys tell me is true. The position of the texture map is even different for this version. I have tried to see if we could use the texture you made for a long time now, but nobody ever came through with it after saying we could use it in Battlefield: Korea.

So the IDF guys fully revamped this model and gave it a lot better details. So not only are the polygons increased, the geometry is completely different now, handling is better, and weapon placement is also different as well as the mounts.

So the main problem is now, the old textures will not line up with this newer higher detailed model unfortunately, so I don;t even think I could adapt your amazing texture to it. Maybe you could adapt some parts of your previous texture work to this new one? Not really sure.
