Why did we change 1.4.8 damage changes?

Why did we change 1.4.8 damage changes?

Now that I felt curious into ballistics and stuff like that , I've looked 1.4.8 update that made the damage changes more realistic. It was an improvement in my opinion and I don't understand why it was removed. 9mm deserved the damage it deserves,556 too and 762 also.

I didn't see any problem but improvement. I don't think it was balance because even insurgents had AKs which is 762 with alot of punching power to counter conventional forces that use 556

This is my opinion . What do you guys think? I personally would like this new damage changes back.

imho the bullet damage changes should have stayed. More realistic that way and forces players to think more strategically.

Cause its a game and not a milsim. Its suposed to be fun, and getting chest 1hk as insurgent against bodyarmored blufor that can stand 3-4 chest shots of 5.45 is not fun. Neither was it fun emptying a whole tube of shotgun into a guy so he could survive and kill you in 1 round. Weapon diversity is one great part about PR, that change killed it.

Of course it was fun. People complain about BALANCE and WEAPON VARIETY like 9mm is useless againts armor , pistols are not primary weapons for that reason(deal with it).Pistols don't have much power.

Now ,762x51 and 762x54 were extremely powerful, like they are in real life i guess?

What balance issue? It was great to play every faction even insurgents that don't have body armor, it forced them not to do stupid things.

*shotguns are only effective againts unarmored targets btw
