Polish APC & Shit PC Optimization

Post by Coalz101 »

When the apc gets tracked and goes into water it goes completely static. It happened yesterday and I was forced to abandon the apc which got me killed in the process.

Also there is parts on maps where the optimization is terrible on shit PCs, I normally get like 15-20 FPS on 4km maps in the desert but looking into the city I get terrible frame rate, like on Muttrah. If anyone has noticed yet when your FPS is low, there is higher recoil on weapons and it's difficult to turn turrents and shoot accurately. having 2 effects settings might beable to fix this instead of forcing it to high, I'd rather have Medium setting forced than high.

They're terrible:

Intel Celeron CPU N2830 @ 2.16 GHz

64-bit ( At least that is what it says :/ )

4GB RAM

4GB VRAM

Intel HD Graphics

That's way too low(celeron). You need to buy a new computer with separate GPU. I don't think anything could be optimized to suit for your PC. Effects setting high so that players with low settings would not get unfair gameplay advantage over people with high settings - it is there for a reason.

If that is a desktop PC(not laptop) you can just buy a second hand medium range GPU and that'll be enough, I guess.

I don't think you can assign 4GB of VRAM for an IGP, maximum is 1,7 GB according to this.

I too noticed decreased FPS on almost every map. I believe it is caused by force enabling EAX since I experienced this issue before once I enabled this feature. It was one of my first pieces of advice when someone mentioned low FPS.

My specs are:

i7 4720HQ @ 2.60 GHz (TB: 3.60 GHz)
GTX 960M (4GB)
8 GB RAM

I haven't noticed any major performance hit on my PC, I have yet to try enabling the EAX emulation on my Xonar sound card though, I'll enable that and see if I take any performance hits.

Specs:
i7 6700K @ 4.8 GHz OC
16GB 3000MHz DDR4
GTX 1080 Ti
