Can I run PR on my pc
Hello everyone.
Can I run PR on lowest possible settings with this PC.
Intel Celeron 2.66 GHz
1 GB RAM
ATi Radeon 9250 128 MB
I have ATi Radeon x1650 PRO which is 512 MB, but I need to fix cooler on it, and will buy 1 GB ram soon.
I dont know when I am gonna buy RAM and fix GPU, so I want to try to play this right now.
I played BF2 with x1650 PRO and it was running smooth.

PR is a lot more system heavy than VBF2, you should be able to run it on low but you might struggle to get a stable frame rate

PR 1.0 is much heavier than Vanilla BF2 and previous PR versions.
Buying one 1GB of RAM could help, although I don't know where they still sell it (you have probably DDR2?)
You could save up and buy a good system for PR, about 400 dollar would be enough (if it's an AMD based system).
This would be; a motherboard, a processor, RAM and a graphics card (you already have a case, power supply, monitor, keyboard, etc..)
I have played PR for a while with Intel HD4600 Integrated graphics and it ran smoothly (30~60 fps) on high settings, so a graphics card becomes optional if you're planning to play only PR and older games (although BF3 runs smoothly on low settings with integrated graphics)

Re: Can I run PR on my pc
I have a
Intel Core 2 Duo @ 1.86GHz
4GB RAM
Radeon Sapphire HD5570 (1GB DDR5)
and receive about 74fps when by myself on a local map, but drop to about 15FPS when huge firefights start in an actual game, and I run everything on low (well, low as possible now with the new launcher). I get about 40~FPS on servers when nothing much is happening apart from a few shots.
Honestly, I would just say you would have to go and build an entire new machine if you want a decent gaming experience in PR - I know I am at that point now.

Re: Can I run PR on my pc
6Gb is largely enough, i have 4Gb and my game run fine with 99FPS constantly. Your GPU (Radeon 6650) is quite old, upgrade it with a newer one.
Au dela du possible ...

Re: Can I run PR on my pc
I have 6GB RAM with a really, really sh*tty Nvidia GeForce 250 GT (thing is so old Nvidia doesn't even have it listed on the drivers' list), and I run it pretty much just fine at 1920x1080 with everything at it's *lowest*.SilverHawk11 wrote:Hello everyone.

I'd suggest buying more RAM, otherwise you're gonna have a really tough time trying to run PR.

Re: Can I run PR on my pc
Do not play PR on it, save this time for earning 200$ for sufficient PCHeRobust wrote:i got: Core 2 duo e6550 2.33 ghz,3gb of ddr2 ram,and intel gma 3100 (35 family chipset) can i run it in the lowest settings possible while maintaining 24+fps?
Intel G4400
nVidia GTX650
4GB DDR4
I can run PR with constant 60 fps or more, on maps like Operation Thunder its like constant 100fps or even more. The key here is single-core performance of a CPU, rest doesn't matter much, but also better graphics card could bring You a little more FPS - I was using older card before, after replacement it didn't boost fps much though.
Now, I don't plan any more upgrades on PC, since PC is just for PR xD
